# Pool Remodel Scope Planning in Mesa

Separate pool resurfacing from tile, deck, plumbing and equipment changes in a Mesa remodel.

## Mark the project boundary

List what stays and what changes: interior, tile, coping, deck and equipment. Give each item a separate allowance or defined scope so omitted work is easy to see.

## Resolve overlapping trades

Ask who coordinates plumbing, electrical or deck work if those are included. Confirm access, protection and disposal responsibilities across the project.

## Control changes during preparation

Agree how unexpected damage, supply changes and extra work will be reported and approved. Keep proposed dates separate from confirmed availability.

### Put these items in the written scope

| Scope item | Confirm before agreeing |
| --- | --- |
| Interior | Included finish and surfaces. |
| Related work | Tile, deck, plumbing and equipment boundaries. |
| Coordination | Trade responsibilities, approvals and cleanup. |

## Details to gather

- List of desired changes
- Equipment to retain or replace
- Gate and enclosure access
- Known existing repair records

Compare complete boundaries rather than one combined remodel total.

## Questions about this request

### Does a remodel quote include equipment replacement?

Only the written list establishes that. Name each item being retained, repaired or replaced.

### Do all resurfacing projects need the same approvals?

Describe your actual project to the authority for the property. Additional remodeling can change the questions to ask.
